Sixth seminar in the Communicate with Power® 2026 series of six leadership communications skills seminars.
A crisis is an event, revelation, allegation or set of circumstances which threatens the integrity, reputation or survival of an individual or organization.
It challenges the public's sense of safety, values or appropriateness.
Crises have moved from being strictly about coverage in the mainstream media to being immersed in a massive interwoven and shared social and digital media ecosystem. Taking hold of the crisis rapidly and effectively requires strategic communications abilities, cool, objective leadership and a clear focus supported with a team that is quickly on the same page about what needs to be done and what needs to be communicated.
In this seminar, participants will use these strategies, tools and skill sets to handle a crisis in real time involving a simulation that is video recorded, followed by constructive and helpful feedback to participants.
