TLC Transformational Leadership Consultants Inc., led by principals, Barry J. McLoughlin and Laura M. Peck, believe in the potential of authentic, values-based leadership to transform organizations, and through that, contribute to a better world.

As former broadcasters, teachers and communications strategists we bring a deeply rooted knowledge of what is required of leaders in this time of disruption and uncertainty.

Our Methodologies

As Adjunct Professors in Strategic Communications, and as graduates of the Harvard Business School Certificate Programs, teaching the Case Study Method I and II, we believe in the core principles of adult education - experiential, practical and interactive.

All of our programs feature customized simulations which are video-recorded followed by a three step feedback process: self-critique, peer observer critique and instructor critique to ensure constructive and helpful feedback.

Barry J. McLoughlin
BA, MPA (Harvard)

Barry has over three decades of experience as a leadership communications trainer and crisis communications expert. He is a former broadcaster, writer and on-camera host and interviewer, prior to becoming the 'go to' crisis and issues strategist throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Laura M. Peck
B.A., B.Ed, H.K.E.E. (Harvard)

Laura is a former radio and television broadcaster and teacher, who has trained executives throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe. Besides conducting numerous seminars, Laura is also an Adjunct Professor in the MBA program, Shannon School of Business, Cape Breton University.
